80 Washington Square East and Participant Inc. will open an exhibition by Danny McDonald — his first in an American institution.

In 1989, McDonald moved to New York from Los Angeles to attend Cooper Union, where he met the artists with whom he would form Art Club 2000. Art Club 2000 mounted shows and projects throughout the 1990s. Since then, McDonald has made exhibitions, video, and performances, was director of the gallery American Fine Arts, Co., New York, and the creator of Mended Veil, a jewelry line.

The exhibition was commissioned by Nicola Lees and Lia Gangitano. It is curated by Rhea Anastas and Robert Snowden and supported by House of Gaga.
