Digital Art and Design Minor

The undergraduate Digital Art and Design minor requires 16 points taken in the Department of Art and Art Professions. The required courses Design I, and Design II may be taken in any order or concurrently. 


As a complement to studio art practice, minors are encouraged to attend exhibitions and visiting lectures held weekly in the department. Students should check with their major adviser before declaring a minor.

Design I for Non-Majors Typography 
ART-UE 401 (4 points)

Design II for Non-Majors Layout, Composition, and Color
ART-UE 402 (4 points)

Design Studio for Non-Majors
Topics vary each semester, including Animation Motion Graphics, Book Arts, Branding, and Site-Specific Design.
