Educational Equity Project

The Educational Equity Project is committed to advancing educational opportunity in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people attending American schools. We challenge disproportionality, segregation, and excessive punishment, and we provide technical and structural assistance, partnering with states, districts, and schools to transform the condition of education.

The Educational Equity Project works in communities that have been vulnerabilized by poverty and weakened by structural neglect. We are committed to changing the narrative about race in America schools. The Educational Equity Project produces groundbreaking reports and recommendations to assist advocates and policymakers in the critically important work of educational justice reform. We publish toolkits, practice continua, equity indicators, discussion guides, and other educational materials useful for achieving higher level outcomes in education.
