The Research Alliance was pleased to have a presence at the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) Spring 2018 Conference (February 28th – March 3rd), which focused on the theme “The Evidence Behind Evidence Use: When Does Education Research Inform Practice?”     

At the conference, the Research Alliance’s Rachel Cole organized a symposium exploring “University-Based Collaborations Informing Practice through Research: Lessons from Four Research-Practice Partnerships” (Wednesday, February 28th at 3:30pm). In another session, Research Alliance Executive Director Dr. James Kemple also drew on our evaluation of ESI as part of a discussion about “Evidence-Building, Implementation, and Adaptationin partnerships between external researchers and local school districts. 

The four-day conference took place in Washington, D.C.
