Linda Tigani staff photoLinda Tigani is a Research Analyst (II) at the Research Alliance, where she contributes to our evaluation of the Expanded Success Initiative. Linda is interested in the development of new schools and curricula, as well as the dynamics of student-teacher relationships.

Prior to joining the Research Alliance, Linda held a variety of roles in which she provided direct social services to young people in low-income immigrant communities, both within and outside of school settings. She worked as an Education Advocate for the Education Rights Project at the Family Resource Center, Partnership for the Homeless; a Community Engagement Specialist for the Center for Community Alternatives; and an Education and Support Program Specialist for the City Kids Foundation Attendance Improvement and Drop Out Prevention Program.

Linda holds an M.S.W. from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, with a focus on Community Organizing Planning and Development, as well as a B.A. in Sociology from Bard College.
