NYU Portraits: Where Social Justice Meets The Stage – Thursday, 8/29

NYU Portraits is a performance-based program that creates a vibrant and colorful experience where historical and contemporary movements for justice and equality meets the stage to invigorate a commitment to creating social change. Featuring a cast comprised of NYU students, faculty and staff; performance artists and social change activists, NYU Portraits utilizes an innovative approach to highlighting the importance of campus diversity & social justice for incoming first-year, transfer and graduate students. Women of Color in Leadership – Wednesday, May 15th

On May 15th, hear from today’s leading experts in media and the arts as they share insights on career paths, gender, and race representation in filmmaking, and the role of arts in inspiring change. Speakers from HBO, T. Howard Foundation and Black TV & Film Collective will share their leadership highs and lows and offer advice on the challenges that face women of color. IPAC Spring Picnic – Friday, May 3, 2019

Join the International Programming and Advocacy Committee (IPAC) and other Steinhardt students for an end of the year celebratory picnic in Central Park! We’ll be meeting on campus at 12pm and head to the park together to enjoy free food, lawn games, and good weather! Bring your own Metrocard, lunch provided, registration required.

Get ready and de-stress for finals with IPAC – Monday, April 29

Gear up for finals with the Steinhardt International Programming and Advocacy Committee (IPAC)! We will be hosting an exclusive study space and de-stress time on Monday, April 29th with free food, activities, and more for Steinhardt students in the 3rd floor Student Lounge of Pless Hall.

10:30am-12pm Start the day off with mindfulness exercises, a free breakfast, and a quiet place to study!

12pm-1:30pm Free lunch, puzzles, coloring and craft activities to take a break from studying and de-stress!
